Decadent sound filled with dusty texture and smoky atmosphere by two veteran live-acts

Two Tokyo-based veteran live-acts, Sancho Meiso Chaya and Koyas, have teamed up again and release new EP. This EP is made from their recording of hardware-based sessions like previous release. As a result, this EP sounds slow and deep house sounds.
Both tracks have dope and decadent soundscapes. “Dusty Dub” is a slow house track which has a smoky atmosphere and analog texture using tape echo and TB-303.
“Smoky Club” sounds like an underground small club party by a combination of polyrhythmic synth and a drum machine processed by a tape machine.

ベテラン・ライブアクト達による、ざらついた質感と妖しげな煙たさが漂う退廃的な地下サウンド

東京を拠点に活動する2組のライブアクト／プロデューサーが再びタッグを組んだリリース第2弾EP。今作も、Shin Sasamaのソロユニット＝山頂瞑想茶屋(Sancho Meiso Chaya）とKoyasによるハードウェアを駆使したセッションを元に構成され、テンポが遅めの四つ打ちサウンドに仕上がった。
”Dusty Dub"は、テープエコーとTB-303が煙たさとざらついた質感を生み出したスローハウス。
“Smoky Club”ではポリリズムを奏でるベースシンセと、テープ加工されたリズムマシンが絡み合い、アンダーグラウンドな小箱のパーティーを思わせる。2曲ともゆったりしていながらも、健全とはいえないドープな音空間を作り上げている。
